Months of hard work were invested in the engineering of this motor using many years of experience designing and producing our extremely successful line of Thrust® brushless motors (since 2006).
Many hours of long and tedious testing were required to reach the very high standards we aimed for with this all new motor. We tested multiple style of rotor fan blades and angles to achieve the maximum efficiency. Months of AutoCAD engineering were needed to reduce every bit of weight without sacrificing the integrity of the motor.
We overcame the CNC production challenges and the result is a state of the art integrated cooling fan incorporating angle and pitch on the inner surfaces.
We managed to raise the bar once again making the lightest and most powerful motor in its class! We nearly doubled the poles which translates into a lot more torque (more magnets = more torque!!), minimized the gap between the magnets and stator which boosts up torque and thrust, specially designed front fan rotor blades that creates a vacuum of air, channeled between the magnets and stator then expelled through the end bell, keeping the motor cool to withstand hard 3D flying and abuse. We increased the stator lamination (0.2mm) to increase efficiency similar to that of very expensive F3A motors.
