NJ-5/AT-6 Texan är en 1,5 meter lång stridsfågel som har ett skalenligt utseende med pilot och massor av kraft. Modellen har fungerande klaffar, infällbart landningsställ och drivs av ett 3-4S LiPo-batteri. Historia
Innan elevpiloter under andra världskriget kunde bli skickliga stridspiloter var de först tvungna att skaffa sig erfarenhet av att framföra ett avancerat träningsflygplan. Den tuffa AT-6 Texan gav dem förmågan att hantera alla dåliga vanor hos ett stridsflygplan och bli väldisciplinerade med hög respekt för sina flygplan. Amerikanska flottpiloter flög flitigt under beteckningen SNJ, och idag fortsätter hundratals AT-6:or att flyga, långt utöver sin träningsroll.

Before student pilots during World War II became hot-shot Allied fighter jocks, they first needed to gain experience using an advanced trainer. U.S. Navy pilots flew the airplane extensively under the SNJ designation, and today, hundreds of AT-6s continue to fly, serving well beyond their trainer role. E-flite has updated and upgraded the SNJ-5/AT-6 1.5m to make it the most capable and easiest to fly scale replica of the Texan yet! The airframe is factory-finished in an iconic scheme based on the SNJ-5 "101," which is still being flown by High Sky Wing - a unit of the Commemorative Air Force based in Midland, Texas. It features a variety of scale details, including molded-in panel lines, a simulated radial engine, a detailed cockpit with a pilot figure, and more. Plus, its functional flaps and retractable landing gear add to the scale flying experience. The upgraded 3S and 4S 2200-4000mAh compatible power system features a 70A Spektrum Avian Smart Lite ESC. The BNF Basic version is equipped with an AR631+ receiver, delivering real-time telemetry data along with enhanced AS3X+ and optional-use SAFE Select technologies. You dont need any glue for assembly, so you can get flying faster, typically in less time than it takes to charge a battery. The one-piece wing is easy to remove/install for even easier transport and storage thanks to hands-free servo connections.
